This changed bath time for us. Best investment we have made for our 8 week old. She hated bath time and it was because she was so uncomfortable and it was so hard to keep her warm and actually wash her. I have been using this bath for three months and I am finally annoyed enough to write a review. I was so excited when I ordered this bath, and I really wanted to love it, but I just can't. This is THE CUTEST BABY BATH ever. That being said, it is NOT FUNCTIONAL AT ALL. I find myself dreading bathtime every day because it's just so inconvenient and difficult to use. For the first month and a half (before our little one could hold herself up somewhat), it took two people to bath the baby in this thing because it offers no support for baby and you just don't have easy access to scrub baby down. I mean imagine putting a piece of memory foam in your sink and sitting your baby on top. Not ideal. Bathing in this thing is hard enough, but taking care of it afterwards is the real kicker. I can spend several minutes squishing out all the water as best I can, but still have to run to the dryer carrying a dripping mess. Yes it drips. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Plus it usually takes two drying cycles to get this thing dry, and it gets really smelly no matter how often I wash it. Basically, if I could go back in time, I would buy a much more sensible baby bath. This is ADORABLE but a total waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and get one of those plastic tubs or slings you can lay the baby in and easily maneuver. Like I said, I've tried to make myself love this bath but bathtime has become way too much of a hassle.

This is my #1 recommended product for babies! I've always thought baby tubs/slings were stupid because they outgrow them fast and they're cumbersome to store. This solves both problems! Our laundry room is right off of the kitchen, so I'd throw it in the dryer when we were finished. I then used a binder clip to hang it from a command hook on the side of the washing machine. Easy & convenient. At 5 months, she outgrew sink baths so we laid it in the bath tub. I laid her on it and bathed her that way. When we finish, I drain the water, squeeze as much water out of it as I can, and leave it laying in the tub. Now at 6 months, she's sitting independently so I just sit her on the flower. You'd think it would slide but it doesn't! It soaks up SO much water that it's heavy by itself, but then adding her weight makes it stay perfectly in place. He loves baths but because he's an older dog he slips a lot when I bathe him so I have to hold him with one arm and bathe him with the other. I thought I'd give this item a try and it worked perfectly. He just loved it. He was so comfortable as he leaned into it while the tap was running over him. I am able to bath her unassisted where as I had to have another person help me when using a traditional baby bath. Bonus, no more crouching over and breaking my back to bath my babe in the bathtub. Only thing that is annoying sometimes is that the bloom slides around sometimes in the sink. Super easy to adjust and move the bloom back to its original position.

There is no head or neck support, which, being a first time mom, I didn’t realize was necessary. Without this support, bathing our infant is a two person job- my husband has to prop baby up to keep her from sliding down, while I bathe her. The flower really only serves to cushion the cold, hard kitchen sink. Also, to keep it from floating up and overflowing the sink, you have to soak the bottom part in water. Wringing the water out at the end is a huge pain- it holds A TON of water and is super heavy. I always end up dripping it all over the floor as I take it to the washing machine. My advice to new parents would be to get a bath with an infant sling insert- much mo re practical.
