Installed this in a guest bath that we recently remodeled. Didn't want a shower curtain to cover the new tile work and didn't want one of those ugly sliding shower doors you can purchase at your local HD or Lowe's. Local glass places were estimating $1000 plus and that was way out of our budget. I stumbled across this on Amazon almost by accident and figured I'd give it a try. Myself and my brother-in-law installed this in about 40 min. It really goes easy with two peop le just because you are dealing with a giant piece of glass. Kudos to the people that did this by themselves. We used masonry bits combined with a hammer drill for the install and it could not have gone smoother. Make sure you put the door on top of the 5/8" shim when measuring for the holes. We used a Home Depot wooden ruler cut in half and stacked on top of each other, topped with a Home Depot paint stirrer. This measured exactly 5/8" and set perfect on the top of the tub. By the way this is necessary for the placement of the gasket.

But they should be 180deg hinges, not 90deg hinges. I am beyond pleased it not only looks good but it functions petfectly, there is hardly any over spray. Many have said the installation is a two person job, but my handyman installed it himself with no problem. It arrived in perfect condition, well packed by the manufacturer. My handyman used the su pplied hardware and it worked fine for the installation. I noticed the price came down since I ordered mine, lucky you! It is a very well made shower door and you will love it!

And yes it really doesn’t splash any water or leak if you install correctly and are a 10 year old. Don’t settle for that lazy ass shower curtain. That shit gets moldy and your ass is tired of swapping out those sob’s ..Treat yourself to a little luxury. Maybe even splurge a little and get a few accessories for yourself. Hard to get laid with a nasty ass curtain homie. Get it and stop being an undecided little biotch. Cov-id never forget

I ordered 2 doors and both are defective - they appear tarnished.. I don't want to pay the handyman more money to take down and return. Instead, I want a refund and will purchase locally to insure quality. Amazon is say saying Build.com will not provide a refund or allow a return (which I don't want to do). Be careful. I hope they change their policy and do the right thing with a refund. It's obvious from the pictures that the hinges are not brushed nickel.

I'm happy with it. I don't have problem with water spraying out. We have the KOHLER K-17492-CP shower head which is an ersatz rain head/ hand held shower head thing. So we can angle the spray straight down when its on the wall. Yes water can spray out if you aren't careful with the hand wand, but its not really a problem. The problem I have is that there is no gutter rail along the bottom like some of the other doors. While this creates a more pleasing appearance, all the water that has accumulated on the door will drip onto the floor when the door is left open after a shower. W e use it as more of a half wall than a true door.

They are experts in drilling in tiles and anchoring heavy stuff to the walls. The result is beautiful, modern looking bathroom, more open, and of course very well functioning shower panel. There is no problem with water splashing whatsoever but make sure that you don't open the door with water still on the door, I have enough room to exit my tub without opening it and I would recommend to wipe the door with squeegee after each use. I t hink the key to complete satisfaction is the correct installation.
